I've got that Speedy Rewards thing. It was a pretty good deal when I was grabbing coffee every morning and blowing through $20 - 30 per week but now that I'm committed to using my Keuring until it dies I don't think I'll be racking up points as quickly as I used to. But it's a good program. Scored a $50 gift certificate to Lowe's and another $50 Visa card. I know this shit isn't free and it's buried in the price of those god awful roller grill quesa- what the fucks that I love so much. But $100 in free shit isn't bad.
Stopped off Aco to grab some electrical tape for my diy for cheap bathroom electrical problem that in the end will probably cost me a few grand to fix correctly... some day... down the line...
Was able to hit up my neighbor for help changing out the top on my Jeep. Something that should have been done a month or so ago but I was waiting for the right guy to come along to lend a hand. I'm not holding my breath on that one anymore. I should have ended things a bit more gentle but I wanted to keep things normal-ish... no more bizarro three way dates or late night drop ins but it's better this way. I wanted more... I wanted to be a part of something. I know I would never make this guys top 5 but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't even make top 10. I could've asked. But why make it weird.
Wednesday - zero spending.
Woke up Wednesday morning to one of those Facebook notifications"what were you doing x amount of years ago" I untagged myself from it. Far too many hard memories with that one person. Some doors need to stay closed. I think I forgave him. I know I did the first few times he apologized. Then he apologized another dozen times. The more he apologized the more used and stupid I felt. Any goodwill kinda got washed away. I dunno. Life, right ?
I didn't drink to forget though. I didn't do any online retail therapy. I just sat on my futon and watched the breaking news on that shooting in California. That couple had a six month old daughter. How could they do that to her? It's shitty weird world we live in when you put your own happiness or misery in front of the well being of your own kids.
